CASTE & POLITICS : ‘The Entwined Twins’.

The existence of caste system in india has been based on one single element whose
presence has always boosted in the evil system of caste in this 21 st century
modern india also, and that is ‘Politics’.Suppose if there was no politics
,which is hard to imagine,as existence of politics is an eventual truth which
can only be eradicated if somehow the human mankind gets destroyed ,which is in
near future not going to happen. So, just imagine ,if there was no
politics,there would have been no such thing called the caste system.Its the
political system or political class which promulgates the caste system.
In this country it is the only way through which there previous political masters or idiots have taught them how to fight an election, the day till any alternative system is not invented in this country,the satanic political jingoism played out through this caste system will remain whatsoever in one form or other form. Lets talk about how caste and politics go hand in hand especially during elections in india.For example,if we take UttarPradesh as one of the most crucial states of our country,it is an excellent example to show how caste is used as a potent weapon to win election in our couutry.
So, here surgically when we open up the political arthimetics and psephological statistics of this state in an assembly election we find different castes along with religion based entities or identities of a large group of people whose vote plays a major role in outcome of an election result,UP has population of nearly 22 crores out of which 14 to 15 crore are the eligible voters.UP has largest % of muslim minority living in this country.Its population is 3 times of Tamilnadu , Rajasthan & 7 times that of kerala, it is larger than even the largest country in land mass on earth, The Russian Federation. So, as there are four major parties with two being a national parties and other two being a regional outfit. BJP,Congress & SP,BSP. Here SP is the foremost contender followed by Congress in the race to capture the votebank of muslim minority of nearly 19-20% of states population out of which 17-18% turn up for voting on election day based on past psephological statistics.Similarly 22% of population consist of dalits (SCs & STs) who always vote for BSP as Mayawati being Supreme dalit mascot in the country.Now out of 22%,only 18-20% voter turn up for voting. Now 18% of this eligible voters consists of UpperCastes Hindus including Brahmins out of which only 12 -14 % turn up for voting who eventually vote for BJP.Here,the remaining 41% counts for OBCs the other backward castes,out of which 9% belong to Yadavs and Kurmis. Here Yadavs vote for SP & as the Kurmis belong to Bihar CM Nitish kumar and RJD Chief Lalu Yadav’s Caste,who also eventually vote for SP only as both are samandhis, now from this votebank faction 6-7% turn up for on election day to cast their vote.

Soul,heart or so to say everything is undercontrol. Thier participation and shift of votes to any party
determine the election outcome the most,the main reasons for having election campaigns
is to consolidate simply the existing votebank & at the sametime,to woo the remaining 32% of OBCs
through promising them favourable policies , freebies etc.
One most important factor in our country’s politics is that minorities vote in much larger no. compared to the majoritarian castes or religion due to which most of the media speculation of who wins the election before the election results always fails considerably.So,this is a basic political sample to taste for the readers how caste politics is subtely played in our country at such a minute level.
When a novice who enters the politics to change the society or bring any hope of positive rays in society,they either get depressed and leave their thought of helping bring any change in the political system or either they accept this bitter truth and make a career out of this absurd political system hoping one day everything will soon be alright, which logically speaking would never come.So, this the vicious cycle of the entwined twins born together “CASTE & POLITICS” in India.
