Small Scale Businesses in Periamet are flourishing paving the way for Investments in real estate sector as well as govt.funding for  roadway construction which is bringing massive social & economic transformation in the region since GST implementation.

If to go by the, holistic perspective done by local market experts, the main issue that we observed is that demonetization acted as a catalyst which disturbed their market equilibrium, which proved to be a disaster for their business & daily livelihood.Many of the shops & stores on verge of shutting due to unorganized licensing system, rampant corruption in doing ease of business, and unavailability of consumers which would take nearly 12 to 18 months more re calibrate the situation.Although, change is inevitable, most of the market practice have changed where all have ordered the atm card machines for business transaction to take place as usual.But proper adaptation  of government policies by local businesses have started to show positive results.

The real estate market in order to usher up their projects selling point,are focusing upon restructuring indirectly by       bringing in facilities like drinking water,dress cleaning centers,supermarkets which are making the area look exclusively attractive.also, re marketing the area with residential hub tag is also working out well.

Hajitullah khan, a motor garage owner says, “We are witnessing one of the most prosperous period ever, our future looks great, it seems as if our market has been crippled by some holy spirits.Of course, i am speaking quite illogically, but what to do?We are witnessing a rags to riches like story ,you know how tough it is to run a business in country like India, yet our businesses are giving us profits in just 4-5 years of establishment.

Karim bhai,a local pawn shop owner says,”this area was once a dirty place of central Chennai,now we cannot even see a single area which is not the urbanization flick ,periamet has become a economic possibility, a alternate places for also locomotive,logistics & shipping companies in nearby Chennai beach area to shift their work as the place is becoming too crowded.Such economic prosperity is something that is generating good opportunities for the youth in our area.”

Raja Bhai,a lower middle class person says,I can now dream of living a urban life in my very own birthplace,the PM Awaas Yojna Scheme has provided me subsidy for buying my own flat through a credible construction firm.I am very happy that we local residents are not left out from tasting the overall success of this region”

Social Transformation occurs only when there is economic stability &prosperity,the story of periamet reciprocates that statement,once a region messed up zero sanitation,improper structure for basic livelihood and relegious fights is today a hub of small scale businesses ,a real estate possibility and a place of bustling brotherhood.All this is possible due to perfect timely collaboration of both corporate & resources at large only,it should set an example for nearby region like vyasarpadi to learn lessons from its sister area to come up the economic bandwagon and transform their area too.
